Your health and well-being continue to be our highest priority as we carefully prepare and update our practice procedures, as well as train our dental team to do all that we can to minimize the risk of COVID-19 for our patients and team members. Please be assured that we will be taking care of you just as well as we will be taking care of our families.
For your peace of mind and preparation the following process is to provide a safe dental treatment experience including, but are not limited to the following here is what to expect:
All patient appointments will need to be scheduled by phone, text or email. (not in-person or walk-in)
UPON YOUR ARRIVAL
We ask you to please wait in your car or outside of the clinic, give our receptionist a call letting them know you have arrived. The office will call you or text you when we are ready to do your screening please arrive on time (not early)
Your temperature will be taken and the screening form will be reviewed BEFORE entering the office.
We kindly ask that ALL patients wear a face covering or a mask.
In order to keep with the social distancing guidelines, we are limiting the number of patients in the office. At this time we ask that only the patient come into the office. Patients may have 1 parent/caregiver escort them into the office IF it is essential. Please do not bring other siblings or friends/family to the appointment. If a parent/caregiver enters the reception area of the office they must undergo the same screening requirements as the patient as well will be required to wear a face covering or a mask at all times. No persons except the patient will be allowed back in the clinic area where aerosol generating procedures take place. Please maintain a distance of 6 feet at all times.
When you enter the office you will find hand sanitizer in the vestibule area. We ask that you sanitize upon entry and exit of the office.
We ask that you leave masks in place at all times unless examination and treatment are being performed.
Here are some things the Doctor and team are doing to ensure your safety in addition to the above
1. Frequent disinfecting of highly touched surfaces: door handles, bathrooms, debit machine, dental operatories etc.
2. Installation of plexiglass barriers and use of PPE by front desk staff.
3. Installation of HEPA and UV air filtration to improve air quality.
4. Staggering of patient appointment times to reduce likelihood of multiple patients in office at one time.
5. Treating fewer patients per day.
6. Daily staff screening, hand washing and sanitization (ALL DAY)
7. Uniforms and shoes for all team members are worn ONLY in the clinic and changed daily. PPE worn by all team members.
Our sterilization of ALL dental instruments will continue with the strict guidelines as before.
Doors for each operatory to ensure any aerosol produced is well contained.
Surgical Grade Air Filtration Units in each operatory to rapidly and continually filter the air.
We want to thank you for your continued support during this time and looking forward to seeing all our patients.
